Heidi Klum has done it again

Beitragsinhaltsbild – Heidi Klum hat es wieder getan

Yes, it's shocking, but it's true: last Thursday evening, 10 April 2025, Heidi Klum once again made sure that I almost spilled the glass of champagne that is part of the GNTM ritual on the canapé. Because she said it again: "... one after the other."

Not that I have anything against Heidi Klum - on the contrary, I really like and appreciate her. It's not for nothing that I haven't missed an episode of "Germany's Next Top Model" since 2015 - mainly because it's very interesting for me to watch elaborate photo shoots with top photographers and usually very good models and great styles. But the style blossoms Heidi produces sometimes make me smile.

What's wrong with that?

Okay, I can explain that: It actually says: "One [something] after the other." And there is a reason for that. It lies in the chronological sequence:

Chronologically, we start with the first [Something 1]. We look at the following [Something 2] and realise that this one to follows the first, in this case after the "other".

With "one after the other", therefore the first step after the second take place. Which is not physically possible. (We are still assuming that no time machine exists. Then of course it would be a bit complicated).

I have sketched this (very) roughly (sorry ...):
