Ralf came on board in 2007 when we (then Thesedays, later Wunderman / Wunderman/Thompson, now VML Belgium NV) were developing the new Europe-wide website for Pioneer Electronics Europe.

At the time, Ralf was employed as a copywriter at Wunderman Cologne and maintained contact with the teams at Pioneer Germany in Willich. He was responsible for the ongoing translation of all product texts for Car Audio, Home Entertainment, and later also for the new Pioneer DJ division. He also entered the texts into the CMS we had developed ourselves.

Since we always got along very well, Ralf stayed with us even after the Pioneer divisions split up and has since then worked exclusively on the DJ and professional audio products of AlphaTheta Corporation, which emerged from Pioneer DJ.

To date, a number of colleagues – including myself – have worked with Ralf, and everyone has been very satisfied with his work, his friendly nature, and his flexible, dedicated approach.

He is very reliable and usually quite fast. Perhaps even more importantly, his previous experience and technical training mean he’s very familiar with the technical backgrounds of consumer electronics (and now also the ins and outs of the DJ industry), and he delivers translations that are not only linguistically sound but also factually accurate.

So, if you’re looking for a very good, competent, and approachable translator for English texts, I can wholeheartedly recommend Ralf. Working with him is truly a pleasure.
